  1. Thank you for sharing these links. The link regarding Bronchial Involvement was very supportive for me to read in print. I have these spasms if I become excited while talking or sometimes after eating food (I also have another diagnosis which effects smooth muscles). I fear returning to work because of the spasms which also often exist at the same times with a Myoclonic Jerk.

    Myoclonic jerks can be scary. I hardly ever have them, but one of the few times I did was before I was diagnosed. The doctors still thought some of my pain and numbness could be coming from pinched nerves, so I was strapped to a table getting an epidural in my spine. Yeesh! Why do these kinds of things seem to happen at the worst times?
